Pension Perspectives: Consensus Between Canadians and Businesses on Retirement Security

Earlier this year, the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and Abacus Data released the 2022 Canadian Retirement Survey, which tracks Canadians’ views on the current economic climate, retirement preparedness, and the personal and societal impacts of retirement security.

Complementing the views of working Canadians, HOOPP and Angus Reid Group recently released the 2022 Canadian Employer Pension Survey, which highlights the value that employers place on retirement benefits and pensions as they relate to staff recruitment, retention and productivity in a higher inflationary climate.

This panel discussion features experts from two of the leading research firms in the country. David Coletto of Abacus Data and Demetre Eliopoulos of Angus Reid Group will each present their respective findings.
