DOL Seeks Feedback on Long-COVID Workplace Challenges; Comments Due August 1

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy has announced a national online dialogue, “Understanding and Addressing Workplace Challenges Related to Long COVID.” The goal is to gather ideas to better support workers coping with symptoms, their co-workers and their employers. 

Specifically, DOL is seeking public input on long COVID in the following areas:
  • Challenges workers with long COVID face in the workplace.
  • Ways employers can support their workers with long COVID.
  • Employee benefit challenges.
  • Effective practices to inform both workers and employers about long COVID.
  • Methods to address obstacles workers face with long COVID when obtaining needed disability benefits.

The online dialogue is open through August 1, 2022.
