ERISA Advisory Council Meeting Scheduled for October 18; Statements Due October 11

The Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) announced the 213th meeting of the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans (ERISA Advisory Council) to be held via teleconference on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm ET. The purpose of the meeting is for Advisory Council members to discuss potential recommendations for the Secretary of Labor on the issues of (1) Cybersecurity Issues Affecting Health Benefit Plans and (2) Cybersecurity Insurance and Employee Benefit Plans. 

The ERISA Advisory Council’s web page includes descriptions of the topics. The web page will post instructions for public access to the teleconference meeting one week prior to the meeting.
