ERISA Advisory Council Meeting Scheduled for December 8-9; Statements Due December 1

The Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) has announced the 214th meeting of the Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans (ERISA Advisory Council) to be held in-person and via teleconference on December 8-9, 2022. The two-day meeting will take place at the U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20210 in Room C5515. 

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, the meeting will be 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. (EST) 

On Friday, December 9, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  (EST)

The meeting will also be accessible via teleconference. Instructions for public teleconference access will be available on the ERISA Advisory Council’s web page approximately one week prior to the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is for Advisory Council members to hear testimony from invited witnesses and to receive an update from the EBSA. The Advisory Council will study the following topics:
