As the Senior Advisor, Pension and Benefits, you plan, organize, design and evaluate Pension and Benefits
programs, you plan and develop long range objectives and strategies for pension and benefits programs, you
oversee and conduct research and development of pension and benefits policies and programs. This includes providing advice on pension and benefits issues and strategies to executives and senior managers.

As the Senior Advisor, Pension and Benefits, you initiate pension and benefits policy amendments to reflect new developments, legislative changes, union initiatives and court/tribunal decisions. You liaise with external organizations, such as consultants, insurance companies, government departments and agencies, in conjunction with appropriate division personnel. You oversee the renewal of the insured employee benefit plans contracts including funding, design, communication and underwriting provisions, in conjunction with the appropriate division personnel.

CFMWS’ Human Resources division provides a full range of HR programs and services to more than 4000 employees in over 60 locations across Canada, the U.S. Europe and in deployed operations. Our HR division develops policies, programs and practices, which are compliant with legislative requirements, and support talent recruitment, development and retention.

· College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, AND several years of experience in human resources, Pension & Benefits programs, or in a related field
· Professional designation in Pension or Benefits

· In planning, organizing and designing pension and benefits programs
· In developing and implementing pension and benefits strategies
· In drafting, editing, and interpreting policies and procedures
· In conducting research and analysis
· In cost-benefit analysis
· In business planning
· In managing projects
· In personnel administration
· In planning and conducting presentations
