Armstrong Teasdale LLP is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to join its St. Louis office. The Benefits Coordinator assist firm personnel with benefits enrollment and questions, verifies all insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and ensures compliance with required benefit notices.

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including (but not limited to) medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, wellness and ancillary benefit programs
• Distributes materials and assists with processing life status changes
• Ensures the accuracy of all benefit data in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information
• Ensure benefit changes are entered appropriately in the payroll system for payroll deductions.
• Assist with new hire orientation and open enrollment process.
• Assist with the administration of the firm’s wellness and tuition reimbursement programs
• Helps administer timely completion of paperwork as it relates to various leaves of absence requests, disabilities, and monitors including coding in our systems for compensation purposes
• Performs quality checks/audits of benefits-related data and provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges
• Assist in completing benefit reporting requirements
• Provide support as needed for the workers compensation and ADA process.
• Support HRBP as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Years of Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in employee benefits administration
Preferred Years of Experience: 2 - 4 years of experience in employee benefits administration
Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Physical Activity: The employee will be required to sit for prolonged periods and work on a computer
Travel Required: N/A
