Change is the process of experiencing anything new and/or different from what we know. It’s a constant, happening literally hundreds of times a day in our lives. But there’s a predictable sequence people go through when major change is introduced. “Motivating Change” explores the very real brain science that takes place and often causes people to resist change. By understanding this process, you can both recognize their fears and concerns and help them to look at things from a different perspective so that, instead of fighting it, they learn to embrace and motivate change.

Takeaways:

• The rate of change is greater than we recognize

• Neurology is the science of understanding change

• Change resilience is a skill we can all develop.
