The
COVID-19 pandemic has changed the workplace as we know it. The past few weeks have brought stress and uncertainty as organizations across the world have adapted.
So while National Employee Benefits Day is probably not at the top on your radar at this moment, it’s possible that this year, perhaps even more than past years, you need to pat yourself and your team on the back. You truly make a difference in the lives of your plan participants and their families especially during these unprecedented times. And that’s a big deal.
The Foundation has been working quickly to develop resources to help your organization navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Visit our
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources page to find the latest information for your plans and the most up-to-date government guidance.
We had planned to use National Employee Benefits Day to encourage you to examine your benefits package and look at the ways you could make adjustments—even small tweaks—to create a more engaged workforce.
And while the world has changed since we started planning for 2020 Employee Benefits Day, the idea behind the original Perk Up Your Perks theme is still relevant—what changes could you make to your benefits offerings to provide value to your plan participants?
It’s likely you can’t answer that question today, but as the weeks evolve keep it in mind. What do your employees need? How can your organization help?
