How to Register for an Exam

Once you have selected a course, your next step is to choose when you would like to take your exam. Choosing a testing quarter establishes your exam eligibility and allows you to schedule your exam.

If you previously scheduled your exam and need to transfer to a future quarter, you will need to use the online order form or downloadable order form to pay the transfer fee and request a future quarter.

Computer-based exams are available at testing centers throughout the United States and Canada and will provide immediate results. Virtual online exams are also offered. Please note, you must submit your order to purchase your exam at least five business days before the end of the quarter/window you have selected.

Please note that the testing quarters will be changing to testing windows in 2022 and the testing dates will be as follows:

     Window 1: January 15-March 15, 2022

     Window 2: April 15-June 15, 2022

     Window 3: July 15-September 15, 2022

     Window 4: October 15-December 15, 2022
