This Canadian certificate is designed to empower individuals and organizations with the knowledge, skills, tools and insights needed to modernize their employee benefits and pension programs. By aligning these programs with their commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), they can create more inclusive, equitable and supportive workplaces for all employees and plan members.

Topics covered include: • Human rights protections, carve-out, and their impact on employment and pension/benefit plans • Current and historic barriers to employment and pension equity • Requirements and best practices for equity and diversity in all aspects of the employment life cycle: o Recruitment and hiring o Contract language o Pension and benefit coverage and enrollment o Policies, communications, and other documents • Pay transparency and the “right to disconnect”
