R. Scott Gregory, FSA

R. Scott Gregory is president of R. Scott Gregory, Inc. (RSGI), an actuarial and consulting firm in Annapolis, Maryland. His consulting career includes service with PriceWaterhouse and Mercer. Gregory has served a range of plan sponsors including multiemployer plans, corporations and government agencies. He has assisted with the design, creation, installation, costing, IRS qualification, administration and communication of retirement plans. Gregory has calculated withdrawal liability amounts and testified in arbitrations. He has valued postretirement welfare benefits and assisted sponsors with investment of plan assets. Gregory serves as a trustee for a group of construction industry benefit funds. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Gregory is past president of the Middle Atlantic Actuarial Club. He has spoken at a number of forums, including International Foundation conferences and enrolled actuaries meetings, and has taught the actuarial section of the CEBS program. Gregory has served as an Advisory Director of the International Foundation, has chaired the Actuaries/ Consultants Committee and has served on the Professionals Committee and Financial Review Committee.
