Joanne Jung, RPh

As a practicing pharmacist and experienced health and benefits practitioner, Joanne Jung provides a unique combination of knowledge and hands-on experience. She has partnered with a broad spectrum of employer, trustee and union groups to optimize drug plan utilization and mitigate costs. Joanne has also advised a wide range of organizations in both the private and public sectors across Canada to design and implement health and benefit management strategies. Prior to joining WTW, she was director of pharmacy services at British Columbia’s largest insurer. Joanne completed her pharmacy degree at the University of British Columbia followed by a hospital residency at St. Paul’s Hospital. As a thought leader, she has published several research papers and is a frequent speaker at industry events. Joanne is a past member of several Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association committees and has served on national advisory boards. Most recently, she was appointed as a member of the implementation advisory group, which will provide advice to Health Canada on the implementation of the National Strategy for Drugs for Rare Diseases.
