Captive Resources

For four decades, Captive Resources has provided mid-market companies the ability to become insurance company owners rather than insurance buyers and to lower their total cost of risk. We do this through the creation, development, and oversight of member-owned group captive insurance companies. We currently advise more than 50 group captives comprising 7,500+ member-companies and $5.5+ billion in annual premium.

We work with Casualty and Medical Stop Loss group captives, and one property group captive, which is available exclusively to members of the Casualty captives. Through our Medical Stop Loss and Health Solutions platform, we help employers take greater control of healthcare risk while benefiting from underwriting discipline, transparency, and long-term financial stability within a captive structure.

In addition, we offer group captive premium financing services, and umbrella support services. We support every aspect of the captives we advise, from claims advocacy to operational oversight, risk management, financial services, regulatory compliance, investment services, and more.
