Continuing Education

Below is a listing of Continuing Education credit that was offered at the 2022 Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference. 

NOTE: Credit will be available for in-person attendance and virtual attendance of live-streamed sessions for some credentialing agencies (see individual listings for details).
Credit will not be available for viewing of recorded sessions.

In-Person Conference:  This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) to receive up to 29 total Category I contact education contact hours. Maximum advanced-level continuing education contact hours available are 22.5. 
To be eligible for the full 29 CECH, you must attend an Intensive Training Seminar (14.0 CECH) and the full Core Conference (15.0 CECH).

Each day of the core conference is considered an individual course for NBHWC continuing education credit. NBHWC credit is awarded based on full attendance by course (day). Partial credit is not available. 

In-Person Attendance: To receive credit you must attend one session in each time frame for that course (day).

Virtual Attendance: To receive credit you must attend every live-streamed session for that course (day). Credit is not available for viewing recorded sessions. Attendance must be during the live stream.

Core Conference: 
32nd Annual Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference - Wednesday is approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (Approval #CE-000161-1) for 6 CE. 
32nd Annual Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference - Thursday is approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (Approval #CE-000161-2) for 5 CE.

The 32nd Annual Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference, 2022-0000000155, has received Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) approval for 28.91 contact hour(s). To be eligible for the full 28.91 contact hours you must attend an Intensive Training Seminar (available in person only)  and the full Core Conference. 

Virtual Conference:  The virtual conference is eligible for contact hours.  Credit is awarded for attendance of live-streamed sessions. The Ohio Nurses Association is an accredited approver of nursing continuing professional development  by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. (OBN-001-91)

CDR

This program has been approved for 29.0 CPEUs for Commission on Dietetic Registration. To be eligible for the full 29 CPEUs, you must attend an Intensive Training Seminar (14.0 CPEUs) and the full Core Conference (15.0 CPEUs). 
Virtual Option: This program has been approved to receive up to 15 total CPEUs. Credit is awarded for attendance of live-streamed sessions. The AAFP has reviewed 32nd Annual Art & Science of Health Promotion Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 28.75 Live AAFP Elective credits. Term of Approval is from 04/11/2022 to 04/15/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
