Lead Manager, Retirement:
Reporting to the Senior Director HR- Retirement, this is a key role in supporting defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, practices and processes. This role is for the HR professional who is passionate about employee benefits and has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a member of the Human Resources (HR) Retirement Team, the successful candidate will bring a positive outlook and creative perspective, as well as an attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of retirement benefits. The Lead Manager, Retirement also partners with senior management to identify and recommend potential benefit changes and on-going process improvements. 

Primary Responsibilities:
-Partner with vendors to ensure accurate retirement administration, with an on-going focus to identify and implement process improvements.
-Identify and research retirement processing issues, including root cause analysis, scope of impact, and remediation activities required to resolve the problem.
-Partner with IDT and vendors to ensure accurate data required to support retirement processes are transmitted in a timely manner. Perform periodic reconciliations to identify any data discrepancies between the systems.
-Verification of benefit calculations for escalated participant questions.
-Respond to internal and external audit questions related to retirement plans.
-Provide periodic forecasts to Finance as required for fringe reporting and accrual activities.
-Provide data needed for compliance reporting to Benefits Compliance.
-Administration of Qualified Non-elective Employer Contributions (QNECs) in the 401k plan, including participant communication.
-Serve as backup for certain cyclical activities such as 401k funding (performed each payroll cycle), day-to-day severance administration activities, and annual projects such as automatic 401k deferral increase, 401k match true-up.
-Participate in key projects, programs, and initiatives, as necessary.
-3+ years of HR related experience, specific emphasis on retirement preferred.
-Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
-Demonstrated ability to execute and respond quickly in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
-Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships
-Strong ability to define and prioritize efforts based on changing business direction and needs.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner effectively to employees throughout the organization.
-Passion for continuous improvement and willingness to challenge the status quo.
-Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
-Advanced skill with MS Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
-Globally mobility a plus
-A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
