Federal, State and Local Leave Laws, Oh My!

Federally and state-mandated paid and unpaid employee leave programs create new challenges and dangers for employers. Dozens of new employee leave laws have been initiated across the country. Many states have pending legislation, and federal authorities require full compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment Act (ADAAA), Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) guidelines.
