Each of the required courses included in the Certificate in Absence Management may qualify for CEBS Compliance credit.

Additionally, courses may be approved for HRCI, SHRM or insurance continuing education credit. Additional credits may be available for other various designations.

1    How do I earn my certificate?

You must successfully complete the five required courses to earn your certificate. Upon purchase of the certificate, you will have access to all four courses for 180 days.

2    How do I complete a course?

First, you must review all of the lessons in the course. You will not be able to take the exam until this requirement is satisfied. When you are ready, you have two attempts to pass the final exam. Final exams range from 25 – 50 questions depending on the course. They are closed-book exams and you must earn a grade of 70% or higher to pass. If you requested insurance continuing education credit, make sure you know the testing requirements set by your state of licensure before you start the exam.

3    How long will it take me to complete the certificate?

Courses range in length and you can complete them at your own pace. Shorter courses may take 1-3 hours to complete while longer courses may take 3-5 hours to complete. Expect to spend at least 16-20 uninterrupted hours completing this certificate.

4    When will I receive my certificate when I finish? 

When you complete the five required courses, you will receive a certificate via email within 24 hours. The certificate will be emailed to the address on file in your International Foundation profile.
