Learn the relationships among the parties of a group insurance contract. Differentiate between the plan sponsor's and insurer's roles and responsibilities regarding the management of a group benefits plan, including plan design, funding, pricing, claims and premium administration, participant communication and the renewal rating process.

Following the successful completion of an online certificate in employee benefits fundamentals, students will be able to apply their knowledge in the field and gain valuable experience. Students will also be well-prepared to further apply their learning by attending face-to-face International Foundation programs and earning their Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

To earn the Fundamentals in Group Benefits certificate, you must successfully complete four e-learning courses. Courses should be taken in the recommended order below.
