CEBS Compliance Credit
CEBS graduates can use Symposium sessions to earn CEBS Compliance credit. Each 50-minute hour of education qualifies for 1 credit of compliance. Visit www.cebs.org/compliance for more information.
The 2026 Symposium qualifies for up to 19 CEBS Compliance credits based on sessions attended.
Insurance Professionals
If you would like to earn insurance credit for your Symposium attendance, please make sure credit is requested no later than July 1, 2026. If it is not listed as pending below, no request will be made to the state for approval.
If you would like to request insurance credit for your attendance at the 2026 Symposium in Phoenix, please indicate your request on your registration. A request does not guarantee state credit approval.

CIMA®
Investments and Wealth Institute® has previously accepted the Annual Employee Benefits Symposium for 16.5 hours of CE credit.

HRCI
The 2025 ISCEBS Symposium was approved for a maximum of 16.0 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward a PHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). All sessions were approved.

SHRM
The 2025 Symposium was approved for 16.0 PDCs; you may use this credit towards your CP and SCP designations.

CPA
The International Foundation is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE sponsors, CPE credits will be granted based on a 50-minute hour.

CFP
CFP® (United States)
The International Foundation is registered with the CFP Board as a sponsor of continuing education (Sponsor ID 286).

CFP® (Canada)
CFP Professionals are required to attest to the completion of their CE requirements for the calendar year specified on the annual Application for Financial Planning Standards Council™ (FPSC) License Renewal Form.
Attendees requesting credit for CFP Canada may submit on-site attendance slips to receive a CE certificate to use to report credit.
Attorneys
State CLE credit approvals are based upon requests for credit received on registration and CE attendance forms. The 2025 Symposium qualified for a maximum of 960 minutes of MCLE instruction.

Canadian Insurance Professionals
- Life insurance agents can earn credit in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.
- The 2025 Symposium will be submitted to the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) as requests are made.
- The Manitoba Insurance Council approved the 2025 Symposium for:
- Monday - 6 Life and/or A&S
- Tuesday - 5 Life and/or A&S
- Wednesday - 4 Life and/or A&S
- The Alberta Insurance Council approved the 2025 Symposium for:
- Monday - 1.5 Life, 3.5 Accident & Sickness, 1 General credits
- Tuesday - 2.5 Life, 2.5 A&S credits
- Wednesday - .5 Life, 2.5 A&S, 1 General credits
