Wellness Alliance Policies
As the Wellness Alliance is an affiliate of the International Foundation, all policies will default to the International Foundation’s unless described below.
For Virtual Events and Workshops
Applies to events that have a start and end date and are led by live instructors, including the Wellness Alliance’s Resilience & Thriving Certificate course and Virtual CWP Exam Prep Workshop.
- Requests to transfer to a future date of the same Wellness Alliance virtual program two or less business days before the original program start or course access date will incur a $75 fee.
- Cancellations are accepted prior to midnight the day before the program (or course materials access) start date, whichever comes first.
- Cancellation fees will be incurred at an incremental rate (see cancel chart on registration policies page)
For Asynchronous E-Learning Training
These are self-paced educational programs that have defined start and end dates, including the Wellness Alliance’s Worksite Wellness Specialist).
- Requests to transfer to a future date of the same Wellness Alliance online program two or less business days before the original program start date, or requesting an extension after the course start date, will incur a $75 fee.
Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) Exam
Registrants may request to cancel their registration and receive a refund or may request to transfer and apply their registration fee to the next CWP Exam period. All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to [email protected].
- Request received five or more business days before the CWP Exam period begins:
- Transfer to next exam period: No transfer fee
- Transfer requests are limited to one per exam fee paid. Transferring a second time requires re-registering for the new exam period at the current rate.
- Cancel registration: Full refund less the $60 application fee
- Transfer to next exam period: No transfer fee
- Request received 1-4 days before the CWP Exam period begins:
- Transfer to next exam period: $150 transfer fee
- Transfer requests are limited to one per exam fee paid. Transferring a second time requires re-registering for the new exam period at the current rate.
- Cancel: Full refund less a $150 cancelation fee
- Transfer to next exam period: $150 transfer fee
- After the CWP Exam period begins: Requests to transfer, cancel, or extend exam access will not be honored.
- CWP exam registrants deemed ineligible to sit for the CWP Exam before the exam period begins will receive a full refund less the $60 application fee.
